English singer Jessie J has revealed she has suffered a miscarriage.
The star posted a statement on Twitter on Sunday, saying she had been open about the loss because she wanted to break the silence over the subject.
“Unfortunately, I’ve lost my baby. Everyone goes through different journeys with this awful disease, and at the end of the day we are ALL heartbroken,” Jessie J wrote.
“It was a devastating loss for all involved, and I’m so sorry for anyone who has been affected by this. I encourage everyone to be open about this issue, and love on each other for being ourselves and having these feelings.”
The star, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, was performing in Singapore in March when she shared the news.
I thought I knew what love was but god gave me the saddest lesson last night. What does it feel like to get a second chance at life, only to realise you need help along the way ? I have broken my silence in order to raise awareness. Please #ShareYourLoveandHope #BackToLife #happydays 💕 — Jessie J (@JessieJ) March 14, 2019
